1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function and, where you have consented, allow us to understand how the service is used.
2. How Sendpilot uses cookies
We use a small number of cookies, split into two categories.
Essential cookies
These are required for the service to function. No consent is required under the strictly necessary exemption in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).
| Cookie | Purpose | Set by | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
better-auth.session_token | Keeps you signed in | Sendpilot (Better Auth) | Session / 30 days |
Marketing and analytics cookies
We use Google Tag Manager to manage our marketing and analytics tags. These cookies are only set once you have given consent via the cookie banner.
| Cookie | Purpose | Set by | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Measures site usage and traffic | Google Analytics | Up to 2 years |
_fbp, _fbc | Supports Facebook ad measurement and retargeting | Meta (Facebook) | Up to 90 days |
| Google Ads cookies | Conversion tracking for advertising | Google Ads | Varies |
Analytics without cookies
We also use Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly traffic measurement. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. No consent is required.
3. Your consent choices
When you first visit Sendpilot, a cookie banner gives you the option to accept or decline marketing and analytics cookies.
You can update your preferences at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the service to function.
4. Managing cookies through your browser
You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will affect how the service works.
5. UK GDPR and PECR
Essential cookies are used under the strictly necessary exemption in PECR. Marketing and analytics cookies are only set with your explicit consent under UK GDPR.
6. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if our cookie use changes. Significant changes will be communicated clearly.
